Setting up the YBS app

If you need to set up the app again or are locked out, follow these steps to get back online.

I need to set up the YBS app again

Open the app.

Select 'I have a YBS savings account'.

Choose the statement 'I view my YBS savings accounts online or via the app' and follow the steps from there. 
You'll need your customer number, date of birth and password.
To use the YBS app, your device must support:
Apple iOS 16 or higher
Android 10 or higher.

I'm locked out of the YBS app

You’ll need to set up the app again if you're locked out and cannot use your:
Passcode
Fingerprints or face recognition (Android device)
Touch ID or Face ID (Apple iOS device).

Face ID or Touch ID

If you need help using Face ID or Touch ID to unlock your Apple iOS or Android device or to sign in to apps, follow these steps.

I need to set up Face ID or Touch ID 

Here's what you can do if you're trying to set up the YBS app again and are having trouble setting up Face ID or Touch ID.

If Face ID or Touch ID is not working on your iPhone or iPad 

To use your Face ID or Touch ID on your Apple iOS on your iPhone or iPad, you'll have to set these up again. Find out more about what to do on Apple support and select the type of support you need, or search:

'If Face ID isn’t working on your iPhone or iPad Pro' for Face ID
'If Touch ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad' for Touch ID.

If fingerprint or face recognition is not working on your Android phone or tablet

To use your fingerprint or face recognition you might have to set these up again. Find out more about what to do on Android's (developed by Google) help center and select the help topic you need.

I need to log in using Face ID or Touch ID 

You'll need to set up the app again if you're having trouble using Face ID or Touch ID.

I've changed my Face ID or Touch ID 

If you've changed your Face ID or Touch ID on your Apple iOS or Android device, then you'll need to set up the app again.

Passcodes

Find out what to do if you're having trouble using your passcode for the YBS app.

I've forgotten my passcode 

You'll need to set up the app again if you've forgotten your passcode.

I want to change my passcode 

To change your passcode you use to log in to the YBS app, you'll need to set up the app again.

Select 'I have a YBS savings account'.

Choose the statement 'I view my YBS savings accounts online or via the app' and follow the steps from there. 
You'll need your customer number, date of birth and password.

I want to change the way I log in 

You'll need to set up the app again If you want to change the way they log in to the YBS app. For example, if you have a passcode and want to start using or stop using Face ID.

Need more help?

If you're still having trouble with logging in, follow these steps:

Uninstall the YBS app.

Download the YBS app again.

Go through the steps to set up the app again to log back in.
To use our app, your device must support:
Apple iOS 15 or higher
Android 10 or higher

Calls to 03 numbers are charged at the same rate as 01 and 02 numbers from all phones.

Lines are open:
9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
9am to 1pm Saturday

Automated services (e.g. password resets) are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
